The Club.
The Mission.

The association was formed in 2008 and plays a very pivotal role in promoting wheelchair racing sport and inculcating the positive values of sports to individuals with disabilities.

Over the years, wheelchair racing athletes have participated in local championships, donned national colours in regional and international competitions. Such competitions challenge the disabled to realise their fullest potential.

Wheelchair racing forms the very cornerstone of WRAS’s existence. WRAS promotes the well-being of the disabled in Singapore, helping them to live full and independent lives. It provides elite and recreational sports programmes to the young and adults with paraplegia, quadriplegia, tetraplegia, spinal cord injuries, amputated lower limbs, cerebral palsy and polio.

Strength & Conditioning Training

Boosting wheelchair racing sport as a means of physical therapy to strengthen the disabled, both physically and mentally, to increase independence, mobility, confidence and self-esteem.

Opportunity to Train, play & compete

Providing the disabled with opportunities to train and play competitively and recreationally.

Wheelchair Racing Enthusiasts

WRAS is a registered society/club with Registry of Societies under the Societies Act (Cap.311). A non-profit disability sports organisation impressed firmly in the mind to safeguard the interest of the wheelchair racing sport’s development along with its professional and amateur athlete members and enthusiasts in Singapore.
